Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 1, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how Signorly ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service"). Our website may be available at signorly.app or another address we publish.
2. Information we collect
Account and authentication
When you create an account or sign in, we may collect identifiers such as your email address, user ID, and authentication tokens. If you use Apple Sign In, Apple may share a name or email with us according to your choices in the Apple prompt.
Content you provide
We process documents, PDFs, signature images, templates, drafts, and similar content that you upload or create in the app so we can provide syncing, signing, and sharing features you request.
Usage and device data
We may collect diagnostic and usage information such as app version, device type, operating system, coarse timestamps of actions, and error logs to maintain security and improve reliability.
Subscriptions
Purchases and subscription status are processed by Apple. We receive limited information from Apple and/or our subscription tooling (for example, RevenueCat) such as whether your account has an active entitlement, product identifiers, and renewal dates—not your full payment card details, which Apple handles.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service (including sync, templates, and signing flows).
- Authenticate you and protect accounts against fraud and abuse.
- Process subscriptions and enforce feature access.
- Communicate with you about the Service, security, or policy updates.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Service); legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement) where not overridden by your rights; consent where required (for example, certain optional communications or cookies on the web); and legal obligation where applicable.
5. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Infrastructure providers (for example, Supabase or similar hosts) that store and process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
- Apple for App Store purchases, Sign in with Apple, and related platform services.
- Subscription management (for example, RevenueCat) to validate entitlements across devices.
- Professional advisers where required (lawyers, auditors) under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities when we believe disclosure is required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.
We do not sell your personal information as "sale" is defined under U.S. state privacy laws.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may delete certain content in the app; backup and residual copies may persist for a limited time in ordinary course.
7. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit where supported and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. International transfers
If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may exercise these rights through in-app settings or by contacting us. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country.
California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA (for example, to know categories of personal information collected and to request deletion), subject to exceptions.
10. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example, in the app).
12. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at the support email published for Signorly (see environment configuration or the App Store listing). You can also review our Terms of Service.
